Clyde E. Bay Foundation was founded in 1999 in Paraguay by two United States citizens, Clyde E. Bay and Celmira Bay. Clyde passed away leaving us on May 19, 2003. Clyde gave his life to service around the world in many third world countries. He was a U.S. federal civil servant, Peace Corp Volunteer and a U.S. Army Reserve Colonel Retired.
Celmira Bay is the director of the Clyde E. Bay Foundation, our medical clinic and nursing school. She is a registered nurse and works fulltime at our Foundation’s medical clinic, and teaches at our technical nursing school in Yeguarizo, Acahay, Dept. of Paraguari, Paraguay.
Between the two of them they were the sole monetary supporters of the foundation which they used their life savings to start. Currently the foundation depends on support of monetary contributions and medical equipment, supply donations from individuals and organizations across the globe.
